Upon arrival, you’re greeted by an incredibly vast and stunning airport. The city boasts impressive skyscrapers, botanical gardens so extensive they can’t be fully explored in a day, and even a man-made island, created to give residents and visitors a place to relax and dip their feet in the water. The F1 race was an exciting experience (my first time attending one), the nighttime views from the Marina Bay Sands rooftop were breathtaking, and the aquarium was a pleasant surprise. However, there was one thing I felt was missing: the scent of the city. Singapore is so new and meticulously “crafted” that it doesn’t seem to have its own unique aroma yet, unlike cities like London, New York, Porto, or others.
