FAQ

Have you visited all the recommended places yourself?

Yes. We’ve personally visited every place included in our plans, and nearly all the photos used were taken by us (with rare exceptions when we didn’t have a suitable picture). The listed locations are those that stood out to us—places that surprised, delighted, and made us want to return. Some places we visited but didn’t feel aligned with our preferences (even if they’re popular landmarks) were either excluded or added to the “Grandma, I visited this place!” section.

Will I find information on how to get to each place?

While you won’t find specific details like which bus to take or which stop to get off at, we do provide general recommendations on how to reach each location, the best times to visit, and other practical tips. We also include general information about the transportation options available in the city, as well as the ones we personally used.

Will the plan include a city/island/location map?

At the end of every plan, you’ll find a map highlighting the recommended locations, helping you visualize where each site is situated within the city. This can assist in planning accommodations, daily activities, and more. Beneath the map, there’s a list of the locations with direct links to Google Maps, making it easy to save your favorites.

Are there restaurant or café recommendations?

In Ieva’s plans, yes—you’ll find a variety of restaurant and bar recommendations with notes on why they’re worth visiting and what dishes to try. In Laura’s plans, you’ll find suggestions on what to taste in the city or country (specialties or signature dishes) along with a few personal dining recommendations.

Are the attractions organized by day?

No. We provide a list of must-visit spots but leave it up to you to structure your itinerary. Whether you prefer to see one attraction a day and spend the rest of your time relaxing, or you want to cram as much as possible into two days, you’re free to plan your visit your way.

How many attractions are in each plan?

This depends on the destination. For example, London plans may include multiple options for a single theme (like three neighborhoods to explore), while other plans might offer one choice per category or omit a category entirely (if, for instance, there are no notable parks). Typically, a single plan includes 5 to 30 attractions.

What does a destination plan include?

Each plan contains all or some of the following themes (depending on the destination, as not every place has attractions for every category):

From above – observation decks or other viewpoints offering panoramic city views. „Realm of art“ – museums, galleries (often modern art), or street art spots. To the market! – food and other markets to explore, perfect for tasting, shopping for souvenirs, or just soaking in the local atmosphere. Green all around – parks and green urban areas for relaxation or outdoor activities. Explore the city and the world – includes everything from temples to museums, offering insight into the local culture or history. Notable neighborhoods – vibrant, artistic, international, colorful, or upscale—these districts are perfect for a stroll, a coffee break, or getting lost in charming streets. Grandma, I visited this place! – this section covers popular landmarks that didn’t quite resonate with us but might be worth visiting based on your own preferences. For foodies – food is an essential part of travel. Whether you’re looking to try local specialties or dine at a fancy restaurant, we share our favorite spots. However, these aren’t exhaustive lists of every meal option. Where to stay? Here you will find reliable, tested (all of them have been personally stayed in) accommodations designed to let you enjoy the local culture and views. Temples – impressive and sacred places worth visiting. For body and soul – these include centers for yoga, meditation, and self-discovery, as well as massage and spa services. Beach clubs – selected for their aesthetics, excellent service, and stunning views, these are perfect spots for relaxation and entertainment where you can spend the entire day and will want to return. Beaches – the most beautiful natural spots that are truly worth seeing. Shopping – tips on where to find unique souvenirs or indulge in some retail therapy. Transport – suggestions on navigating the city, island, or country, arriving from the airport, and which apps to use. While we don’t include exact taxi fares or detailed bus routes, we provide guidance on what to expect. Map – always included at the end of the PDF file, with a list of attractions that link directly to Google Maps, making planning easier.
