Who we are
Laura and Ieva – friends, colleagues, partners. Having met over 13 years ago, we talk almost every day, and there’s one topic that never runs dry: travel. In this area, we are alike in many ways, yet also uniquely different.
How this project began
For a long time, one of us kept hearing (and patiently listening) to friends, acquaintances, and new people suggesting that we should share our travel plans with a broader audience. Despite finding n+ reasons not to do it, the moment finally came when one of us thought, it’s time!
Knowing the other shared the same passion for travel and planning, the project quickly took shape. After all, it’s not only more fun but also easier to do things together.
What our travel plans are about
We invite you to see and experience a city or country the way we did. Before every trip, we analyzed, read, and researched reviews about the most popular spots – the ones that shape the “face” of the city or country. We scoured countless pages to uncover non-touristy or lesser-visited places that are just as amazing :) Some spots we found completely by chance while traveling. So, while some locations will be well-known, others will be hidden gems, but we’ve personally visited, tested, seen, and tasted every single one. Just like we’d recommend a restaurant, movie, or book to our friends, we’re sharing our experiences and discoveries in these plans.
What unites us is our love for travel, though we approach it quite differently. Our goal is for every traveler who finds us to choose a plan that suits their personal travel style – Laura’s or Ieva’s. By following the plan, you’ll not only discover what we did but also see it through your own lens. Because every place, every experience resonates differently with each of us.

And who are these birds, you ask? The birds – that’s Laura and Ieva, always dreaming of the next flight. Not necessarily to faraway lands, but to somewhere that promises new sights, flavors, scents, experiences, and emotions.
From our very first trips (just after finishing school) to today, so much has changed – not only the way we travel or our budgets but also how we view the experience of travel itself. Now, we aim to truly immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of a country or city, disconnect from work, and dedicate time solely to discovering a new place and enjoying the company of those by our side.
